WITH JOE + ALLI
Weddings are such a special occasion for all! This Real Weddings blog is all about the couple. These guys have been together for 10 years. There is a lot of love and nostalgia in their wedding. We caught up with the couple to hear all about their wedding planning and why they choose Peggy and Finn products for their Groomsmen. Happy reading!

How did you guys meet?
Its cliche but we met in high school. Ten years later here we are. What’s that saying about when you know you know?
What was the style of your wedding?
Relaxed, we didn’t want to get caught up in the tiny details. So many people contributed to making the day so special to us. I love that about our friends and family. Alli’s parents did an amazing job making the farm look unbelievable (thank goodness for bore water)
What inspired you to purchase Peggy and Finn products for your wedding day?
Honestly, we were on the lookout for something that was more than the standard block colour tie but wasn’t too over the top. It sounds simple but it really wasn’t. In comes, Peggy and Finn the colours on the ties matched the colour of our bridesmaid’s dresses perfectly. The fact the design was native flowers meant it tied in with our rural wedding. They were everything we were looking for!
Any special comments on the Groom & Groomsmen attire?
We wanted something that the boys would wear again. We went with an MJ Bale jacket, and Country Road for everything else.
Tell us what was unique about your day?
Our entire wedding – from ceremony to reception – was held on the family property. Family has always been something that we really value and that showed on our wedding day. We had also been together 10 years when we got married so all the guests knew each other and had played a huge role in our lives.
A special detail for us was that Alli’s great grandfather owned a Kingswood which her dad purchased when he passed. Alli drove to the farm in that car with her Pop and Dad then after the ceremony, we drove it to a paddock and did some circle work the photos look unreal!
What was your favorite moment on your wedding day?
Joe – watching Alli walk down the aisle and the party with everyone we love.
Alli – marrying my best friend and having all our family and friends there.
Words of wisdom, What advice would you give to other couples who are planning their wedding day?
Our biggest tip is don’t let the small things worry you. No one notices them on the day anyway! Some of the best advice we got prior was to take five minutes just to observe everyone who means so much to you enjoying themselves. Take your time, it’s been said but it’s so true it really does fly by.
