We caught up with Bridey & Jack to get the details on how they squeezed their wedding in just before lockdown. Their family farm wedding is swoon worthy!
How did you guys meet?
We’re a tinder success story! Our first date was at Odyssey Brewery (now known as “The Hop Inn”) for a dark ale.
What was the style of your wedding?
We had a country style wedding on my family farm in Ceres and the reception was held in our old, rustic barn.
What inspired you to purchase Peggy and Finn products for your wedding day?
The bow tie colour scheme perfectly accommodated our theme.
Any special comments on the Groom & Groomsmen attire?
They were all comfy and looked spunky as- especially my husband! 😍
Tell us what was unique about your day?
I think the fact that there’d never been a wedding held on our property before made for unique photos. Also, it was the very last day that weddings were allowed, the following day it was announced that they were banned due to COVID-19. We were extremely lucky because I know a lot of couples sadly missed out.
What was your favorite moment on your wedding day?
Our favourite moment by far, was our ceremony in front of the big peppercorn tree. We absolutely loved sharing our vowels! We both had tears and couldn’t stop giggling.
Words of wisdom, What advice would you give to other couples who are planning their wedding day?
As soon as you get engaged, start locking down the big things- photographer, videographer, makeup artist etc so that you get to enjoy the rest of the process of wedding planning- it’s a big job but so fun!
